It is so well deserved given the positive impact you have had on ExxonMobil’s global operations, the communities where you lived, and more importantly, your devotion to developing the next generation of leaders, especially from underrepresented groups. We need more leaders like you; authentic, walking the talk and never shying away from doing the right thing no matter how difficult. There is a long line of people inside and outside of ExxonMobil that have benefited from your focus on people and personal mentoring, me included. Thank you so much!

I remember when you were an intern at the Baton Rouge refinery, and you told me “I want to make a difference in this industry”. I would have to say that you have far exceeded that statement.
